Vivaldi Gmail

Why Vivaldi browser will not support Google’s FLoC, a new suite of technologies to target ads on the web. The no frills email workflow. So there was this Open ended vivaldi email question(s): 1 day ago. Digitising Videos from an Old Camcorder. Most Vivaldi users come from Opera Presto (RIP), which had an e-mail client, ever since Vivaldi saw the light of day those users (me including) have been asking for an e-mail client. If you just have outlook or gmail then having a client is no benefit.

After writing a quick overview of Vivaldi’s Web Panels, we figured it was only fair to share a few of our favourite sites to use as Web Panels :)

We’ll start it off with a few sites that fall into the ‘social media’ category.

Twitter

Twitter is probably the most obvious use for a Web Panel, so let’s get it out of the way as the first one.

URL to add:https://mobile.twitter.com/home

LinkedIn

If you actually use LinkedIn, it works quite well within a Web Panel.

URL to add:https://www.linkedin.com/feed/

Instagram

Neat way to scroll through your Instagram feed. You can view, like and comment on posts – for “Stories” you’ll need to use the App or web based version of Instagram.

URL to add:https://www.instagram.com

YouTube

Works remarkably well as a Web Panel, I use it to keep track of my most recent subscriptions and will often have something playing in a YouTube Web Panel while I’m composing emails etc.

URL to add:https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions

Last.FM

Gmail

One of the few music sites that functions within a Web Panel.

URL to add: https://www.last.fm/user/YOUR_USER_NAME

Twitch

Watch your fav Twitch.tv vids.

URL to add:https://m.twitch.tv/

Live Music Archive

Almost makes up for Spotify not working in a Web Panel. Almost.

URL to add:https://archive.org/details/etree

Dropbox

Quickly access and even manage your Dropbox files via a Web Panel.

URL to add:https://www.dropbox.com/home

Google Calendar

It’s a useful way to take a glance at your calendar and quickly add events, but you’ll probably get a bit frustrated trying to navigate through much more than those simple functions.

URL to add:https://calendar.google.com/calendar/r

Google Contacts

This a handy Panel to have if you use Google Contacts and are half as forgetful as I am.

URL to add:https://contacts.google.com/

Google Maps Intel(r) wireless wifi link 3945abg driver windows 10.

Not really a lot to say about this one… Works well.

Vivaldi Gmail

URL to add:https://www.google.com/maps/

Google Translate

Perfect for a Web Panel.

URL to add:https://translate.google.ca/m/translate

Google Voice

Make calls, check your voicemail, send messages – all within a Web Panel. Vlc player 4 mac.

URL to add:https://voice.google.com/messages

Google News

Easeus data recovery for mac free. Google News works quite well within a Web Panel, especially after the recent UI update (the one that everyone but me hates).

URL to add:https://news.google.com/

Google Weather

Vivaldi Gmail Tab Icon

This Web Panel is really just a Google search for the word weather followed by your city and state/province/country, which in turn will display the weather results for that city – including a 7 day forecast etc.

URL to add: https://www.google.com/search?q=weather%20CITY%20COUNTRY

Bleacher Report

Quickly scroll through sports headlines including video content

URL to add:http://www.bleacherreport.com/ (I use http://www.bleacherreport.com/toronto-maple-leafs)

Reddit

Scan through Hot/Popular or a particular channel, All, etc.

URL to add:https://www.reddit.com/r/all/

Hacker News

Looks and functions perfectly.

URL to add:https://news.ycombinator.com/

Vivaldi Webmail

Diply

While looking for interesting sites to use as Web Panels, I came across Diply. I’d never heard of it and as far as I can tell had never viewed a page on that site. Did you know it’s the 29th most popular site in the US (according to Alexa).

URL to add:https://diply.com/

Buzzfeed

Looks and functions perfectly.

URL to add:https://www.buzzfeed.com/

Unfortunately These Don’t Work

Vivaldi Browser Gmail

Or perhaps a better ‘heading’ should be “I Can’t Figure Out How to Get These To Work”. If you can, please share the details via a comment below.

Spotify
Wants you to install the mobile App.

Feedly
The ‘sidebar’ that Feedly utilizes takes up too much screen real-estate to be practical in a Web Panel.

Pandora
Wants you to install the mobile App.

Messenger.com
Rumor has it this worked at one point but doesn’t now (?). If you’ve figured out a way to use Messenger.com within a Web Panel please share the URL to add in the comments below. Thanks!

Google Chrome Web Store
I’m not sure how practical this would be to use as a Web Panel, but I’ll never know since it doesn’t work at all.

Vivaldi Webmail Imap

If this article helped you, I'd be grateful if you could share it on your preferred social network - it helps me a lot. If you're feeling particularly generous, you could buy me a coffee and I'd be super grateful :)
